Education is in my blood. I grew up the youngest of two sons, whose parents both taught at King City R-1. My father was the Vocational Agriculture teacher and FFA sponsor and my mother was the Art teacher. After graduating from King City in 2008, I never would've believed my career path would be in education. As fate would have it, ended up graduating from Northwest Missouri State University in the fall of 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education. In the fall of 2013 I began my first job as a teacher at Troy Middle/High School in Troy, Kansas. I taught Middle School Social Studies and High School Strength and Conditioning, while assistant coaching football and baseball. In the spring of 2014 I was hired by my alma mater to be the Business/Computers teacher. In my time at King City I have served in a number of roles including, but not limited to, assistant football coach, assistant basketball coach, head boy's golf coach, and FBLA sponsor. I'm pretty sure the blood that runs in my veins is purple and gold....GO WILDKATS!!! |
